

tbh if you want a free drawing program firealpaca is all you need. especially considering the 3d modeling capabilities, and the one time fee.

I've tried csp as well, really briefly, and its really great. also, i found it really irritating that photoshop was lacking really great features that firealpaca had, like selecting everything in a specific layer. it's an industry standard so many people have used it and found it good of course but personally it was really obvious that it was primarily designed for photo editing. for photo editing it was great, but i found it really clunky and non intuitive for illustration stuff. i tried photoshop (had to use it for a class, so not just one and done, i had to actually use it constantly for 2 or 3 months) and honestly it sucks for digital illustration. it's a good program that's easy to learn, great features, and completely free. been using it for my entire digital art career.
